We're planning on travelling to Thessalonika in June this year. I've
studied recommendations, info on restaurants, hotels, taxi, etc. What
else should we know about this area that's not easily found in
guidebooks, i.e., people's behavior, traditions, etc.?

cant say i know the answer, however we book our holidays with sarah at
http://www.worldwidesizzlers.co.uk she is full of travel knowledge and
always gives us more than enough for what we need. She is worth
looking up
