It's worth to get up early and arrive to the Louvre at opening time.
When I visited I did not need to get into queue. After 1 hour seeing
out of a window the queue was very-very long.
On the first Sunday of a month nobody need to pay fee.
After you got in look for the information desk under the pyramid and
get a plan. This way you can choose the most interesting things to
see.
I spent more than 5 hours there and couldn't see everything...
