I share your distaste for pineapple pizza! But then, I
dislike almost ANY meat or poultry dish that includes fruit.
"Ladies' Luncheon" fare in the U.S. frequently offers
chicken salad with grapes and/or pineapple, which I find
absolutely VILE! The only possible exception to my boycott
might be Jewish "zimmes" [sic] - beef brisket pot-roasted
with dried fruit - although even that has to be really
outstanding, for me to eat it with enjoyment. (I was raised
to "eat whatever you're served" when dining at someone
else's home - I still do, but I don't have to actually LIKE
it!)
