Hello All!
I gather that tolls will be collected automatically using windshield
sensors on the Irish M50 road. That seems to work well in the US (and
can bring to mind how much you spend on tolls!). However, I gather that
you can register your car licence plate and that will be read
aotomatically too. I wonder how well it will work tho' there is less
variety of course in Irish plates.

As others have said, walking around central Edinburgh is enjoyable,
and enough to do to last at least a day. The Georgian House, Holyrood
Palace, and the Castle can all be visited for something a little more
than just looking around. Personally, I enjoy Fettes College, quite
impressive from the front, and interesting from the side as it
distinctly leans. A climb up Arthur's Seat is nice, and as I like
boats, a visit to the harbor at Leith. A nice day trip would be to
Culross, but there's already too much to see in Edinburgh.

We are leaving for Europe in a little over a month. This will be my
first time. Today I purchased a set of electric plug adapters and a
transformer. I understand how they are used.
My question relates to some appliances that say they are dual voltage:
that is they will work with European voltage if an adapter plug is used.
Does that mean that I don't need to use the transformer? I know this
sounds like a dumb question, but I'd rather not blow anything up.
When would one need the transformer?
Thanks in Advance
