Is there a website for buying tickets for London theatrical
performances such as "The Lord of the Rings" or "Wicked" at economical
prices? Or is there a website that anyone can recommend that provides
good info on London's theatrical scene?
What about Rome? Is there a good website for, say, seeing a Puccini
opera? What kind of prices should we expect to pay?

Hello, all: I just had a brief question for those that know train travel in
Europe.
I'm planning on an October tour of Bulgaria and would like to visit Vienna
first (a big Van Gogh exhibition opens in September).
Looking at a map, a route to Sophia looks fairly straightforward: Vienna to
Budapest to Belgrade to Sophia.
I know that train travel in western Europe is very reliable, but can anyone
comment on this proposed route through eastern Europe? This is off the
Eurail beaten path and I wonder how reliable trains in Hungary, Serbia and
Bulgaria are. Would the trains run frequently? Or would this proposed
trip be a disaster waiting to happen?
Any comments would be very gratefully received.

Media across Canada are moaning that this year will see a drastic drop in
tourism, caused by the obscene gas prices in communist Canada.
With the oil companies recording their highest profits in history - in
BILLIONS, places such as Alberta Canada, and even Ontariario
deserve to have their tourism industry go down the toilet, with no tourists
prepared to get ripped off for $5 gallon gasoline!!
The malls will be mainly vacant, since the tourists, and even locals, will not
be able to afford the gas for their RVs and motorhomes, or even for the cars!

From the NY Times:
It is great to see that we finally have some national unity on energy
policy. Unfortunately, the unifying idea is so ridiculous, so unworthy
of the people aspiring to lead our nation, it takes your breath away.
Hillary Clinton has decided to line up with John McCain in pushing to
suspend the federal excise tax on gasoline, 18.4 cents a gallon, for
this summer
