An idiot indeed, not only is there a sign at the top warning that the
road is not suitable for motor vehicles but that fact is patently obvious
to anyone who opens their eyes.

Then I will hire a car and I will go to Monemvasia, Pilos and Olimpia
if you have any suggestions for accommodation in this cities are well
come.

More than that - but not the place it used to be by any means.
I left in disgust for a few weeks this year when even the sensible
posters started to fall out with one another, but came back.
Shame, really - been here since the days of déja when r.t.e. was a
flourishing and valuable forum.

The latest postings I've seen on this subject are from 2006. Does
anyone have recent experience using RomaWireless (the govt run
system)?
thanks, John

I pretty much abandoned this group a while ago in favour of the Lonely
Planet forums, which are largely idiot-free and travel-focused.

Judging by the above, we're down to 5 now.
Or should that be 4 (including myself for replying).
