accomadations, that are probably on sale. The Euro is the best it has
been during the last few months. We have so much information on our

Lufthansa takes over Brussels Airlines
(Belga)
Mon 15/09/08 10:54 - The accord for the takeover of SN Airholdings,
the owner of Brussels Airlines, by German company Lufthansa has now
been completed. The two airliners have been in negotiations for a
couple of weeks.

Brussels Airlines was in difficulty; partly because of the high fuel
prices it was having a hard time surviving on its own and went looking
for a partner.
(Belga)

The end of August it became known that SN Airholding was negotiating
with the German airliner Lufthansa.

Lufthansa was prepared is taking a 45 percent stake in SN for some €65
million. This figures in a capital upgrade for the Belgian airliner.
The Germans also have an option to take over the other 55 percent
after two years.

This afternoon the management of SN Airholding is being informed of
the details of the accord reached. There will be a press conference
after that.
