Thinking of going to Granada, Malaga and maybe the fringes of the
Sierra Nevada in March. (All I've seen of Spain so far is the
transit lounge at Madrid airport).
How high up the southern side of the Sierra Nevada can you get by
public transport at that time of year? Is there any accomodation in
the small high-up villages on that side then? (We have no intention
of going anywhere near a ski resort, so the northern side is out).
In Granada, it looks like small B&Bs are a pretty good deal. Any
local idiosyncrasies to look out for?
