Seems a couple of us have received an invitation from Royal Caribbean to
attend a preview for the upcoming Oasis of the Seas. I don't exactly
know what the event is, but it's taking place in Manhattan in mid-June.
Royal says "There’s been excitement about our plans for the first
Central Park at sea. Now plan to join us as we unveil all of the
intriguing neighborhoods and more of the thrilling innovations to be
featured on the awe-inspiring Oasis class of ships."
Looking forward to finding out more. Your loyal RTC correspondents will
file a full report afterwards!

Check with a Royal Caribbean reservation rep. You might be invited to a
per-inaugural freebie. Usually, they are cruise to nowhere or to private
island and back.

Brian,
Sheree, Tom, Charles, Diana, Susette, Bill and a few more of us did
receive pre-inaugural trips on the Liberty of the Seas, which was a
WONDERFUL time on an incredible ship.
We can only hope they'll remember us when the Oasis is ready to sail!
In the meantime, the preview should be a great sneak peek and whet all
of our appetites.
Jean, I sure wish you could come, but better to rest up now and be
healthy for all the cruising you still have ahead of you. :-)

Jean, at least you will be around to have a pity party with me.lol Even
if we had gotten an invite, we would not of been able to go. I just
realized it has been 4 years since we were on RCCL and that was the
Rhapsody of the Sea with you.

Yes, wouldn't that be nice! I also got the Oasis invite. Sadly,
I am running a major meeting at work that day and won't be able
to make it to the event
