You can get one for the price of the fuel surcharges the cruise lines
are charging. If you can pay for a cruise and related shipboard
expenses, you can afford a passport.

Or visit a nearby US Post Office that provides window service for
passport applications. It's really not that hard. In fact, you can
fill the forms out online and then print them.
