Ft. Lauderdale cruise port directions?

Can anyone please help me with the directions to the Princess cruise
port in Ft. Lauderdale from Lake Wales Florida?? I can get on 60 East in
Lake Wales, but need directions from there. How long is the drive from
Lake Wales to Ft. Lauderdale?? How much does it cost per day to park at
the port for a Princess cruise?? Does anyone also know of a car service
that would drive me to the port and back home after the cruise?? I
priced out one service and they wanted $500.00 for the drive!!! Can
anyone please help me?? Thanks!!!

Have you checked with Princess? They may have buses from you locale in
Florida to Port Everglades.

using mapquest find the 17th street causeway in Ft Lauderdale (Princess
docks just to the sea side of the causeway. Figure that as your
destination and get mapquest directions you will be 2 blocks away.

I just did a real quick Google maps and it shows about 195 miles to the
port. You are looking at about a 6 hour round trip if you drive
yourself. As far as a shuttle, you may have to go to a bigger town to
find reasonable shuttle rates and...

Check out the car rentals in your area. We found that a one day, one way,
rental (Florida has no drop charges) before and after the cruise is often
cheaper than driving your own car and parking at the port.

Pete,

Sure. Very easy. Take either I-95 or the Florida Turnpike South and
get off at I-595 EAST.. takes you right into the port. Princess
leaves from Terminal 2

In January parking at the port was $15/day.
