A group of us will be going on Carnival Conquest at the end of
September. First stop is Montego Bay and some of us were wondering about
taking one of the rafting tours. There are two offered, one is 3.5
hrs and the other 4.5 hrs. Just wondering if there is really any difference
in the two other than the hour, or if either trip is worth taking. Any info
will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Ray Bensch

I just completed a 12 night cruise on the new Queen Victoria, doing a
Norwegian coast itinerary. The ship is quite disappointing
when compared to the QM2. It is clear that Cunard has given much to the
Grill Class passengers, while taking from the
peons in Britannia Class. As reported in most reviews, the standard balcony
cabins are smaller than usual, with an almost
comical lack of storage space in the bedroom and in the very small bathroom.
The QM2 is 60%% larger than the QV, but holds
only 30%% more guests. A lot of extra space on QV has been allocated to the
Grill Class private lounge, deck area, and
private patio.
I have not seen any comment about the horrible arrangements in the Lido
Buffet. For some strange reason, trays and silverware
are available at both ends of the...

I'm taking some friends on a trip on the Norwegian Sun in October. The
only cat D Superior Outside Stateroom available at the time I made the
reservation was all the way forward, so I reserved a Guaranteed D,
figuring that the location couldn't be worse and might be better.
Their advanced guest registration page now shows that they have been
assigned a cabin, but it is a category E Outside Stateroom, which is
smaller than a category D.
Are they likely to be reassigned to a larger stateroom before sailing,
or should I start agitating now? I decided on the D solely on the
basis of NCL's claim that it's larger than the E and F staterooms.
Category C is the same size, and the only difference seems to be that
C cabins are on higher decks, which isn't worth anything to me.

I disagree. I saw it yesterday and wrote this short review:
Best. Batman. Movie. Ever.
