Gareth,
As an alternative, consider a cruise to Alaska following the Inside
Passage. I live about an hour outside of Manhattan. In comparison, I
find Seattle and Vancouver more interesting. You could do a seven day
from either Seattle, WA or Vancouver, BC. then follow through with
either a stay in Vancouver, BC or Seattle, WA or split it between the two.

My dad has been asked if he would be interested in going on a Saga cruise.
We've looked through the brochures and are getting the impression that if
you don't wear a formal suit or DJ for most evenings you will stand out like
a sore thumb.
He'd prefer something more relaxed.
Has anyone experienced a Saga cruise?
Ian
