Where and when will there be a GGC2009?

There are two winter group cruises that I know of that are already
organized. One is Sue's annual VIKING GROUP CRUISE TEN on the Liberty
of the Seas, December 8, 2007. See
http://www.cruiseoutlets.com/hotspecials/2007SuesDecemberGroup.htm

The other winter cruise that has already been set up is George's
VALENTINE'S GROUP CRUISE on CELEBRITY SOLSTICE sailing from Fort
Lauderdale - February 8, 2009. This is a 7 night cruise with stops in
San Juan, St. Kitts/Nevis and St. Maarten. See
http://www.cruisemaster.com/solstice.htm

If I am able to cruise on these dates I would love to do either one of
them or maybe even both. Right now my health, and Bill's as well, is so
fragile that we cannot think of booking anything. I would just hate for
the GGC concept to come to an end.

Will either one of these become the GGC2009?
How do Sue and George feel about it?
Who would be interested in signing up?
Should the future of GGC's be shifted over to the folks on the Yahoo groups?

  Airport to San Diego Terminal

Author: BobEdwards

We're flying into San Diego next month to catch the Dawn Princess.
I've been told that the cruise terminal is very close to the airport
and a cab to the terminal should not be expensive. Is that
information correct?

and the sunsets are devine.. I enjoy the pamperness of the employees and
i so enjoy just getting away..
although i have only sailed once and going on another in aug. i
would never do any other way vacationing..its so much easier to cruise..
no hotels to book and meals are freee and delicious and people
mind their own business..
thats what brings me back..How about you?

  Cruise Fuel cost per person?

Author: Go Bucks!
Date: Feb 9, 2008 20:37

Has anyone ever seen any kind of breakdown as far as Ship A uses X
gallons per 7 day voyage. Ship A has Y passengers. So, X gallons
divided by Y passengers equals Z gallons used per person?

I just wonder how much of the cost of the cruise is spent on fuel
alone.

For that matter has anyone seen how much the cruise line spends on
meals per person per day or per cruise?

Just interesting infromation.

5 weeks from today we will be out to sea on the Pride of Aloha for 11
days, unless I find a good place to stowaway! :-)

Thanks,
Sam
