  Info on B2B in NOLA?

Author:
Date: Feb 3, 2008 20:31

I'll be doing the Carnival Fantasy B2B2B in a couple weeks and I'm wondering
how B2B's are handled in NOLA.

I've done B2B before but in Galveston, and the way they did it there was
this.

Those of us doing B2B were allowed to stay on the ship until everyone had
left. Then we were escorted through customs then back to the ship (leaving
our luggage onboard) Once back on the ship we had pretty much full access to
the ship.

Anyone know how they handle this in NOLA?

Thanx for any info.

LES!

  HAL Pinnacle Grill

Hello, Can someone tell me if the $30pp charge in the Pinnacle Grill is
THE tip, or do you tip in addition to the charge. Seems I read that it was
considered the tip, but unsure. I know we left an additionl amount last
time. But that could have been unnecessary. Thanks for any ideas about that.

NCL Pearl - carry on wine?

Author: telstar

This is my first cruise with NCL. I have sailed Carnival and Princess
and you are allowed to bring wine with you on board. I cannot find
NCL's policy for bringing wine/champagne on board. Does anyone in this
group know?

We will not be booking the transatlantic on the SUMMIT,cruises-n-more
e-mailed me,and said they made an error in the posting gov't
fees, airport taxes, and transfers were NOT included, which makes the
cruise much more,so we will wait it out.
And rosalie,we do go see our travel agent before we do any booking with
any body.

  Shore excursions in Mditerranean ports?

Author: bonvoyage

Would like to hear your comments and suggestions for private shore
expeditions in Mediterranean ports, especially: Montecarlo, Livorno,
Civitavecchia and Kusadasi.

Also Valencia & Cadix.

We are not looking to rent a car for 2, but perhaps if you know of a
resonably priced alternative to ship shore ex. we could possibly get
one or two other couples to join us.

We are plannining on taking a HOHO in Lisbon & Barcelona. would you
also suggest that for Rome? Has anyone stayed in Livorno for the day
and did you find it interesting?

All and any suggestions and tips welcome.

TIA

  best snorkeling

Good morning all,

My family is going on a Royal Caribbean cruise on 4/5 from Tampa. We
are stopping in George Town, Grand Cayman, Roatan, Honduras, Belize
City, Belize, and Cozumel, Mexico. Does anyone have an opinion on
which would be the best for snorkeling, to see beautiful fish? My
kids love snorkeling in the Gulf, even though all they see is sand an
a few small fish. They love tropical fish, so seeing them while
snorkeling would be great for them.

We went snorkeling last year on our RC cruise, but the reef was in
pretty bad shape from the hurricanes.

Thanks,
Kathryn

  Explorer of the Seas

We are considering a trip on RCCL's Explorer of the Seas next winter out
of Cape Liberty New Jersey. We would like feed back from anyone who has
sailed form Cape Liberty, especially in February. Does anyone know how
much parking is per day?? Is there a parking garage, or just a lot??
First/last two days of the cruise is at sea, is it warm enough to be
outside by the pool by the second day?? Any first hand experience with
this ship/port in winter would be appreciated.

Thank you,

Debbie

  Greece Tour Recommendation Wanted

Author: Jeff

Which tour group and tour is recommended for first time Greece visitors? We
were hoping to include a cruise in the tour. We've used Trafalgar before
and have been quite pleased. Thanks,

Jeff
