NCL is the worst, not only does there food stink, but their 1/2 paper
napkins they give you as well,we have crossed NCL ff our cruising
list, and if they keep it up,we will also discard RCCL

Shore excursions on Panama Canal cruise

Author: Dean Worrell
Date: Feb 25, 2008 16:52

We'll be on the Brilliance of the Seas Panama Canal cruise the first 2
weeks of March. Other than Labadee, we've not been to any of the
ports on this cruise. Does anyone have any "must see" or any "don't
bother" excursions or activities at any of these ports?

We will be stopping at:
Willemstad, Curacao 7am - 5pm
Oranjestad, Aruba 7am - 7:30pm
Cristobal Pier, Panama 3pm - 7pm
Cartagena, Colombia 11:30am - 6pm

Personally I'm not thrilled with Cartagena and may just stay on board.

Thanks for any advice!

To Whom It May Concern:

We received this information from Norwegian Cruise Line and thought it may
be of interest to this newsgroup as well. Even though a corporative business
venture, NCL is trying to make some positive efforts in this regard.

Happy sailing...

Dear Valued Travel Partner,

At the inaugural events for Norwegian Gem in December, we announced
Partnership 2.0, a new company-wide initiative designed to make us your best
business partner. With this initiative, we aim to strengthen our
relationship with you, at all levels and pledge to continually put into
practice changes driven by your feedback. In fact, Partnership 2.0 has been
driven by quantitative and qualitative feedback from you and has been
enabled by Apollo's billion dollar investment in NCL and Star Cruises
continued commitment and vision.

Collectively, we have taken a look at the way we work with travel partners
and identified key areas for improvement, ranging from initiatives that will
enhance our relationships at a headquarter level...

not another grueling Princess world cruise?! Agony of the Seas!

Author: misterfact
Date: Feb 25, 2008 11:24

107 days of agony!

If it's like the 2000 Princess world cruise, you can expect the
following to be going on right now:

Same buffet food every day, ecept the occassional Chinese buffet

smell of sewer gas throughout thye ship every4 or 5 days

overflowing toilets, showers (no drain cleaning)

poor maintainance of clothes washers- broken washer hoses leaving 5"
of wat on the laundry room floor (no drain)

loose deck boards (tripping hazard)

TOO MANY PORTS OF CALL. Only 4 to 6 hours in most ports! No time to
shop or find a good restaurant. Princess doesn't know the ports and
makes no recommendations. You're on your own. Just when you may
discover something exciting- you have to rush to get back on the ship.

Insufficient restroom facilities on most foreign excursion buses. Men:
BRING YOUR OWN PEE BOTTLE !
Women: BRING YOUR OWN COVERED PAIL !

Too late for this post. The ship already left!

$21,565. How many passengers want to get off the ship and get home
right now?!

The people towing the SS Independence are having problems. Hawaii refused
them entry and now it looks like Guam is looking to do the same thing.
