This trip offers breathtaking views and interesting subcultures. The
scenery through to the coast is magnificent, the craggy mountain
ranges covered in mystic clouds make travelers feel like wandering in
a fairyland, valleys between the mountains are enhanced by spectacles
of colored villages each with distinctive architectural features and
fascinating spots for watching the sunset.
There are an estimated 20 ethnic minorities in the area. If lucky, or
planned well, the weekly market in Meo Vac will provide an opportunity
to see this wonderful mix of cultures and people.
The trip can arranged alone or in combination with an cruise trip to
Halong bay or a beach break in Phan Thiet.

I was absolutely startled at how expensive Hotels and Motels are in
Uluru. Too make matters worse I will be arriving 1st JUly 09 which is
the start of the peak season. Alice Springs is definitely NOT expensive
with a better choice of hotels and prices.
Package tours for 3 days to Uluru/Kings Canyon/Alice Springs start from
$710.00.
Does anydody out there have any thoughts or suggestions in doing it on
the cheap.??????
TIA
