You'll be hard pressed to find a truly non-smoking restaurant in HK.

Peter is correct, many people smoke in the restaurant but when you arrive
in the resturant, you can simply ask the waiter or reception to have the
non-smoking area, it solves your problem

There are some resturant in Lantau Island I suggest:
1. Holly Restaurant
2. Babylon Villa
3. Station Cafe

If the waiter shunts you to the 'no smoking' section which happens to
be right next to a table of of chain smokers it hardly 'solves your
problem.' There will soon be legislation in HK banning smoking in
restaurants. Till then, it's just pot luck.
