Does anyone know where I can get one of these?. as also made in 1955.
Controller held 2 D cells and used a button that you pushed to put air in a
bladder that steered the front wheels.

Hi everyone,
I tried to send a post yesterday, but it still has not come through on the
group - don't know if I'm doing something wrong or what - anyways, if this
is a repeat, I'm sorry, please disregard.
I am looking for information on two Steiff Toys that I inherited.
The first is a stuffed dog - He is wearing a tag that says "STEIFF CAESAR"
on one side, and "EVII 1910" on the other side. It is a small copper tag.
The collar is red leather.
The second is a Red Fox, also Steiff (I think). I believe it was from
around the same time frame - it has no tags on it.
Any information that anyone has on either of these two toys would be greatly
appreciated.
Cheers,
Sue
P.S. I have photos - if anyone wants to see them - I just didn't want to
attach them and clog up people's inboxes.
e-mail me if you would like me to send the photos to you.

Hi Gang,
I need help with my 2 GI JOE British Commando jackets. One has
buttons
on the shoulder straps and other does not. Both have the GI JOE
collars tags. Neither one has chevrons or anything else on the
sleeves.
Both are the same material and color.
Which one is the original SOTW British Commando jacket?
Thanks,
JJ

We picked up a toy china tea set dated 1975 at a yard sale
recently. There is not much info on the box so I thought I might ask
here and someone may be familiar with it.
It is made in Japan but was sold in Canada. The dealer's sticker
is torn off partially and all I can make out is a "...ud" at the end
of the name and Toronto, Ontario in smaller letters. It's 13 piece
and each piece has a painting of two little girls with beehive
hairdos (one dressed in pink; the other in green) holding up a flower.
The model number on the side of the box reads 74-39 (the 39th week of
1974?). The actual name on the box reads: Toy China Tea Set.
Thank you for any help you can give.

Just a brief reminder about some items of interest up for auction:
SABOTAGE (Games for Fame, 1943) - A rare vintage card game coming
right out of World War II. In keeping with the war effort, the theme
of the game is for two, three or four players (or two teams) to
establish at least three factories (Tank, Aeroplane and Shipping) to
produce valuable and needed suppies to defeat the Axis while trying to
avoid the damaging effects of bombs and SABOTAGE!
CAMPAIGN!: THE AMERICAN GAME OF GO (1961) - Published in 1961 during
the time of the Centennial of the War Between the States. The game
board is made up of squares 18 long and 15 wide, with various
"battlefields" (Vicksburg, Gettysburg, Shiloh, Chattanooga and New
Orleans) interspersed among the blocks. Each player starts with 72
wooden discs. Each turn, a player rolls the dice and adds discs to his
or her lines, attempting to surround the battlefields in order to get
the points assigned to each battlefield. The battlefields are worth
different points to each player, depending on the size of the
battlefield and the distance from the player's home base. The back of
the board includes full color illustrations and story of important
events in the Civil War.
