Did I mention how tedious this is, cause...damn:
http://www.backwater-productions.net/_images/_Lego/The_Tedium_Continues.jpg
That stupid little box took like a half an hour because the gawd damn
live paint jobbie kept fucking it all up when I tried to color it in.
Finally I just created a solid generic shape behind the lines for the
color and called it good. I guess what I could do is just make the
lines in Illustrator and then do ALL the coloring in Paint Shop Pro
via layering, that'd probably save me a lot of time, not having to
bother with that idiotic live paint tool.
One thing that's interesting is how...poor quality, the original
graphics are. I'm kind of torn between emulating their mistakes and
making it look more "perfect". For example when I did the curtains...

What a clueless fucking imbecile! I work at Wal*Mart and it's one of
the best jobs I've ever had. I make nearly double minimum wage and
I'm only an inventory control specialist. Even the unloaders and the
stockmen are paid higher than minimum wage. Then of course there's
all the benefits and perks. I enjoy a nice $500 extra bucks in my
paycheck every four months or so via our profit sharing plan. Not to
mention the stock matching program, basically I buy $150 worth of
stock per paycheck and Wal*Mart gives me an additional $25 in
stock...that's basically free money, over $250 a year yer rackin up
just from investing in Wal*Mart stock. And then of course you can
buy/sell/trade yer stock at any time with their nifty online interface
via Compushare.

Take from nyah:

: This wouldn't be an issue if they hadn't made their browser non-standards-compliant
: in the first place...
There are no and have NEVER been ANY "standards" as far as the web.
The W3C only PROPOSES "standards", it does not set them and since *NO
BROWSER MAKER* fully adheres to those RECOMMENDED "standards", they
are not standard, in any respect.
Any competent web developer can create a cross browser and cross
resolution site under IDEAL circumstances, however there's always the
"(L)user" to keep in mind, the weakest link as far as displaying web...

...he's trying to sell just the ONE minifig for basically $20...now,
um, anyone who isn't plainly retarded knows that the set she comes
with:
http://shop.lego.com/ByTheme/Product.aspx?p=7886&cn=39&d=70
...only costs $30, so why would anyone in their right mind pay nearly
2/3rds of the cost of the original set just to get ONE of its
minifigs?
I mean I could ~maybe~ understand it if the set was no longer being
sold, and I think that the other guy selling them, for about fifty
cents more who has like 56 of them certainly has that as his intended
goal. But to pop off in the forums, practically fondling yer balls
and trying to make it sound as if yer selling something absolutely
INCREDIBLE at a WHOLE 50 cents lower than the other TWO people selling
them on BrickLink WHILE the set is STILL being openly sold on Lego's
website for only $10 more...yeah...I don't think the greater fool
theory runs *THAT* deep.
