About the "art" being plastered up on the building across the street.
They seem to have abandoned the project though since about a week ago.
They better fucking clean up their shit and not just leave it half
assed like that or I'm gonna be about seven gawd damn shades of
*REALLY* the fuck pissed off. Having it half done isn't any better
than having it finished...in fact in some respects it's even worse.

This user "Brasletty" is advertising one thing and then delivering
another. This is what is known as FALSE ADVERTISING and is CONSUMER
FRAUD and beyond breaking federal law it's also a grossly unacceptable
unethical business practice. The fact that BrickLink admins are aware
of this and continue to allow him to sell on their site basically
implicates them, in other words, those two buyers in the links above,
they have every right to sue BrickLink for consumer fraud as they were
aware that the user was advertising one thing and then shipping
another. Not only could the BrickLink owners be sued, but they could
even be prosecuted by any number of consumer protection agencies, in
which case they could find themselves doing time in a federal prison.

I've been doing a lot of photo scanning/archiving here lately, mostly
stuff from my grandparents, and it's kinda strange to see how much I
have in common with my long departed grandpa. He died when I was
around six and had been in bad shape for a few years before that due
to a car accident, so I never really got to know him very well outside
of stories from my mom and grandma. The reason we're so alike is
because of our interests, in both art and electronics...of course
electronics in his day weren't liak they are now. For a long time he
ran his own business as an electrician and as a sign painter. He did
a lot of odd jobs over the years, some pretty amazing, like he worked
as an electrician on the set of the original King Kong movie, although
not credited, but back then they didn't credit people in movies liak
they do now. I believe there are some historic records though about
the movie that list him as a "grip" for the movie. He also did a lot
of electronic based archiving liak I do, or as much as could be done
in those days. There were several radio shows that he and my
grandmother listened to regularly and he recorded and archived every
one of them on cassette tape. He and my grandmother also did a lot of
audio letters on cassette to my mom and my aunt and uncle, so it's
really cool being able to hear what they sound liak back in the day. I ...
