Well, that's a whole *other* matter. I was just making an obscure
point regarding the idea of going Reese's Peanut Butter Cup with major
franchises. :)

My 7 year old has been (politely) nagging for an X-Wing Luke to go with
his X-Wing fighter. He got his X-wing a year or so ao - it looks
pretty much like the one I'd gotten when I was 7, which was designed
for the classic figures, so I'm assuming that the form factor is the
same. I'd rather get a figure that's carded and less likely to look
like it's been sitting in a ziploc since the Reagan administration.
Will those musclebound POTF figures fit in these vehicles, or should I
stick with getting one of the old (and slightly worn) 1978 figures?
Just how interchangeable are they?

It's still only January, and yet I have a four star review up. Not
only that, but I'm willing to go out on a limb and claim that the new
John Wayne Premium Format figure from Sideshow is their BEST in the
format to date. Ah, but you'll have to read the review to see the
context of the argument...
The guest review covers the fourt series of Staction MOTU figures from
NECA. Christian Lopez writes it up with his thoughts on Leech, Webstor
and Snakeface. You can find all the reviews at the usual:

Hi all.
In addition to being a collector, I'm also a customizer, and
one challenge I've had is in finding capes for the Kenner DC
lines. Sometimes I like to make a new cape from scratch rather
than cannibalizing a legit Super Powers accessory, especially one
that's prone to so much wear and tear. I'm good with a needle and
thread, but I lack the C-shaped clips for the neck.
Is there a market for repro cape clips, as there used to be
for Mego accessories?

More Hasbro Marvel reviews tonight...but first, let's talk Sideshow
Star Wars. I have my review up of the new Bib Fortuna from Sideshow,
and he's extremely nice. Not Maul nice, but certainly just a step down
from there. He's going to look great with Jabba (who should be
shipping in the States very soon) and the Salacious Crumb pack (which
has already shipped).
The guest review covers the entire wave of Marvel Legends series 1 from
Hasbro. Matt Hedgecock steps up with this great write up, but I'll be
covering them as well. You can find all the reviews at the usual:

In fact, I do cover three of the six ML's from Hasbro over at QSE
tonight, including Hercules, Banshee and Beast. On Thursday, I'll have
the second half of the review up at MROTW, covering Emma, Hulk and Iron
Man (along with Annihilus). Thanks for reading!
