Something called taking it easy so that he does not get burnt out. He won't
kill himself out there and there is Hamburg starting next week, followed by
the FO while his lead on Nadal has widened.

Perhaps Federer needs to worry about Djokovic more than Nadal?
Federer's play is still quite shaky. Hope it is better by RG.

So that's your excuse for Federer never winning during his CAREER French
or Rome. He was taking it easy all these years. Okay.

He has to worry about Stepanek first, let's start there...

I told you guys two days ago that Federer will follow Nadal.
Federer cares about the FO and his number one ranking. With this result and
Nadal's loss, Federer added 550 points to his lead.
Rome is just a clay title that no one would give a damn about it.

He played perfect match against Canas. His level of play went down after
Nadal's loss.
For him, he decided to show for the matches and not to push his body, if he
wins, then fine ,otherwise it's fine too.

I believed you, tell you why: It was too much pressure for Roger to take
that he could actually WIN ROME. He wanted this so badly.
