Hello all - hopefully many of you will have ideas for why my just

sat for at least over a year before purchase, I took it home, battery
was completely dead but after an hour took enough charge to let me
turn over the engine, which spun up easily and I disengaged in less
than two seconds (I just wanted to see that it would spin). No
unusual noises were noted. After replacing stale gas, I took it to
the water to attempt to start, and it was solidly locked (starter

Hi,
what oil do you recommend for my Polaris Pro 2-stroke jetski?
Is a TC-W3 complying oil good enough?
Thanks a lot.
Christoph.

What are the gotcha's with this type of boat?
Thinking about buying this '96 bombardier jetboat, twin rotax engines,
guy wants $6450, boat LOOKS nice.
Given there no traditional transom issues (I suppose!) what do I need
to watch out for with this kind of boat? Compression test? Basically;
- what do I need to watch out for?
- what should I be asking the mechanic to check?
- what should I offer?

i have a 96 polaris sltx and all three cylinders get hot. the front
cylinder got hot enough to melt the paint off of the head cover. i
replaced the front cylinder and checked all the water ports, but it
still gets hot after about 20 seconds of riding time. can anyone
please tell me what is wrong with this thing.
