I am a die-hard Adelaide Crows Supporter, and I am watching the Crows
slide into the gutter. We have now lost 5 games in a row, which has
not happened since 1999. While there are all sorts of problems to deal
with, Neil Craig’s stubbornness is making me pull my hair out. It
seems the more games we lose, the more he digs his bloody heels in and
won’t listen to anybody.
Yes, I know the Crows lack a quality Key Forward. Yes, they need to
recruit one. I agree with that 100%%.....but "for the time
being".....why on earth don’t they make Ben Rutten the Full Forward or
Centre Half Forward? I can immediately hear most people say:
"Oh, Rutten plays at Full Back. He’s a Defender. He can’t go Forward.
That’s just stupid putting him Forward."
Well, I’d like to draw your attention to this link:
http://www.afc.com.au/Season2007/Players/PlayerProfile/tabid/4506/Default.aspx?playerid...
"Rutten, who played much of his junior football at centre half
forward, kicked three goals with his first three kicks in the AFL in
2003….."
Most opposition Key Forwards don’t go toe-to-toe with Rutten in the
Goal Square. Rather, they run him up to the wings and back, over and
over. Then they end up beating him on long leads. He is simply too...

Aussie Lounge, ( http://www.aussielounge.com.au ) the free social
networking site just for Australian travellers has finally been launched
to allow Australians to connect with fellow Australians around the
world.
For those users familiar with social networking sites such as MySpace
and Facebook, Aussie Lounge ( www.aussielounge.com.au) provides users
with a similar ease of use functionality and networking and all at no
cost, with free membership and full access to the site.
Creating your account is easy and simple with most of the questions
easily skipped. Once you create your account, you'll receive a
verification email about 10 minutes later to activate your account and
then you're good to go.
Aussie Lounge is primarily targeted at connecting Australians with other
Australians all over the world (although does not restrict users of
other nations), and the idea is for Australians where-ever they are to
comment about where they are, what they like about the place they're in,
travel tips and any interesting facts about the place.
