WOSM dead in the water

It appears that BSA along with some other Associations have determined
for their own reasons to have a coup. It appears that WOSM has
commenced on the path of self destruction and perhaps a new world
body
representing all scouting movements (not just national associations)
will arise from the ashes.

A coup, huh? Here I thought the whole thing was about the way the
management of the WOSM was mis-using the funds donated to them by the
national organizations. I would also get upset if an organization I
was donating money to was not using the funds in the proper manner.

For many non Americans, the USA is like a 900 pound ape who often
throws a tantrum when they are not able to get their own way. I do not
think it is about money, it is a fundamental question of what is the
role of scouting in the community. There does not appear to be a
coherent perspective. In many countries it is viewed as a mechanism of
community and social development; whilst in others it is viewed as a
leisure activity.
Remember the bulk of WOSM membership is concentrated in a few
countries 90%% of the membership comes from 15 countries with 79%% from
5 countries the other 10%% of the membership comes from the rest. In
other terms approximately 3 %% of national scouting organisations
provide 79%% of the wosm membership, 6%% of national national
organisations provide 90 %% of WOSM membership...

Okay, you have my curiosity now. Is there a list of the countries that
belong to the WOSM? And is there is listing of how much each country
pays to this organization?

After doing some digging on the WOSM website, I did find a membership
list of countries involved. There are a lot of countries involved!
Have not found anything on "dues" or donation amount yet.
