OK, finally found out that the city decided that a CDB grant
could NOT fund a scoutreach program or any program that
requires a religious oath.

For all you whiners out there, the city manager is looking
into Learning For Life programs. You know, the BSA program
that doesn't discriminate on the basis of religion or
sexual orientation.

Are you confused Brian? Aren't you one of the whiners, in that you
passionately oppose a program for American boys that expects nothing
more from them than what already exists as part of our society,
culture, and heritage?

Isn't America wonderful in that you have the right not to join such a
program?

What did I say that's incorrect?

Again, what did I say that's incorrect?

Not at all.

Nope. I keep dishonest organizations like the Boy Scouts of
America from defrauding the public.

Was it some other liar also called Stan Krieger who said "Are you
confused Brian? Aren't you one of the whiners, in that you
passionately oppose a program for American boys that expects nothing
more from them than what already exists as part of our society,
culture, and heritage?"

That heritage if far wider than your vision of it.

The BSA demands that boys acknowledge God. Where in
the Constitution do you find such a requirement? Where
in the Constitution do you find any indication that
government money may be used to enforce such a
requirement?

"Our society, culture and heritage" is not one of
enforced obedience to a narrow creed. You can maintain
your circumscribed views only by doing what the BSA
is attempting to do: by ignoring and excluding those
who disagree with you.

Why yes Stan, and among the blessings of Liberty is the right to
decline to swear fealty to other people's gods without losing any
right of access to any public program.

But I'm a bit puzzled why you quote that bit. You see, if your point
is about acknowledging gods, there is one bit in the constitution,
just before the signatures, that does that. I expect that you know of
it. Why don't you quote that for us Stan?
