  Christmas meat

Author: khtervola
Date: Dec 25, 2008 06:16

I have a Japanese spitz which can cry: you can see from the dark moist
shadows under his eyes if he has been sad for any reason.

I bought some meat for Christmas. There was too much of it, so the dog
got his part too and was happy.

The next morning I noticed that he had been crying. I asked him why
and he "said": "Because there isn't meat like this every day!"

  dog is limping

Author: Dave in Lake Villa

My dog is limping on her left leg. She only started this a
few hours ago. She hasn't shown any sign of pain,in fact she wanted
to play. I felt her leg but she didn't show any signs of being
hurt...what could be causing her limp? A sore leg? She is a beautiful
tri-color chihuahua. I posted a picture of her below.

Bay area Boston Rescue needs a little help.

Author: grinder
Date: Sep 16, 2008 12:53

Linda at Bay Area Boston Rescue gives it her all to rescue Bostons in
Northern California. We cannot say enough about her conscientious efforts
to place Bostons in good homes. But this year her expenses far exceeded
adoption fees. This is an e-mail she sent to her supporters. Please
participate if you wish to help.
----------------------------------------------------
Bostons by the Bay Rescue has experienced extraordinarily
high veterinary costs this year. In addition to the routine vet care which
we provide, we've also treated our foster Bostons for cataracts, cherry
eye,
tumors, demodex mange, dental disease, elongated palates, stenotic nares,
Cushings disease, and most recently pneumonia. Our adoption fees don't
come close to covering the enormous vet bills which are part of...

  Online training for dogs

Author: thecrashlab

Hey guys!!
2 Months ago I purchased a dog training manual because I couldn't
afford a trainer. Yikes $275 a week!! Any way, I tried this one that
was amazing! Just wanted some input on if it is the best one out
there, or should I try another. Definately helped with basic commands,
and now I am trying the harder stuff. Input is appreciated. The
obedience kit I tried is here http://qsoffrodinc.com/mydoglistens

  Peticure rotary nail groomer?

Author: Dave Garrett
Date: Aug 31, 2008 12:51

Can anyone comment on the effectiveness, or lack thereof, of the
Peticure rotary nail grooming tool (http://peticure.com/)? A bit of
googling revealed that this is supposedly a better-built device than the
similarly-named copycat knock-offs which I seem to be getting spammed
about multiple times daily.

Our GSD absolutely hates to have her nails trimmed, and I'm wondering if
this tool is a decent alternative to a standard nail clipper, or just a
cheap gimmick.
