I knew somefing was coming up when I saw my carrier on the floor. Sure
enough Meowmie took me to TED today. Even put my poop in the carrier.
Said TED asked for it.
They poke me all over and took my temperature. I was hissy mad and
growled. They called me grumpy Rusty. I was put in a tray with some
litter. I will not pee on demand. TED than shaved my neck and stuck a
needle to steal blood. I tried to bite the hands that held me so they
put a mask over my face. I was so mad that I did pee, on TED, before
he
could put me back in the litter tray. So he stuck a bowl under my
tail to get the pee. Better that than getting a catheter stuck under
my tail to steal pee. TED is strange. Who else would want cat pee and
poop?
Anyway, Meowmie was shock at how much she had to pay TED. Serve her
right....

Hihi Kitties,
OK,... I was ready early, on purpose, to take Diana to the foster home
and I thought we'd spend some time together. I lay on the bed and
Diana came right to me and lay on my chest and then stomache and we
purred together for half an hour or more and said goodbye.
Then it went well getting her out of the house, except when I forgot
the address and had to climb back up the stairs. Diana got a little
car sick but not too bad and the foster home where she is staying is
like cat heaven. She will be in a third floor loft they all the dance
studio which is nice and warm and Diana loves to be warm. It has
windows and places where she can watch all sorts of urban wildlife in
the trees around her. But of course she will be alone except for the
orange Tom downstairs, separated by a door for the time being.
It all went much more easily than I thought. I actually felt not too
bad as I left her and drove home. They are good cat people and I can
tell they will be gentle with her, as she has become accustomed to.
Then I get home and there is an email telling me that an ex-rpcc member
has a place for both Ryan and Diana!!! Wow! Downside it that it's
several hundred miles away, OK, can overcome that, AND it's with a cat
rescue person I've never heard of who has 43 cats already in her 2500 ...

Lewi smiles at Kitty Schottland. As soon as you open the gifts, we can load
the KUV and port to Italy. Soft headbutts, he is so happy.

Well all my strays that I feed have made it through another winter and
are doing fine. Not to mention all the birds and squirrels that I fed
through the winter. I seen a couple of them (Cats) layin out in the
sun enjoying the warmth while they can. It still gets into the 30s
most nights but is coming up.
Now I am debating whether to cut the cats back to mostly dry food for
the summer. I fed them canned as well as dry over the winter months
to make sure they would get the moisture from canned where there was
no water setting about. The reason I was thinking about mostly dry
now is that if something happened to me (I am in mid 60s) they will
not be used to the canned or dependent on it since there is no one
that is willing to take over feeding them. I have even thought of
just putting dry out a couple times a week to get them used to
foraging for themselves a bit again this summer.
I was just wondering what some of your opinion are on the subject.

Hi dear friends,
Well the lady at the Cat Rescue Network said they can take Diana this
weekend and so I said Sunday.
I am getting help from a some good hoomans and the foster home is only
temporary. If we can find a good home for them to be together it can
still happen.
Yesterday, I told Diana and Rayn about what was going to happen, and
how they'd have to be split up. I used simple english wondering if
they'd understand any of it. Their eyes said they knew something was
wrong.
In the middle of the night I find Diana and Ryan curled up together on
my bed beside my legs, purring as loudly as I've ever heard them purr.
Ryan hardly ever comes on the bed and then only for short periods of
time. They seldom purrr like that.
Arrangements are almost changing...
