He's walking much more steadily and only falls over when he shakes his head.

Do any of you have that age old fight with foil or that plastic wrap? You
know when they jump out of the box at the worst time?

Well, I would like to share this with you. Yesterday I went to throw out an
empty Reynolds foil box and for some reason I turned it and looked at the
end of the box. And written on the end it said, 'Press here to lock end'.
Right there on the end of the box is a tab to lock the roll in
place. How long has this little locking tab been there? I then looked at a
generic brand of aluminum foil and it had one, too. I then looked at a box
of Saran wrap and it had one too! I can't count the number of times the
Saran wrap roll has jumped out when I was trying to cover
something up.

I guess the force-feeding got his appetite to wake up, because this morning
he showed strong interest in food and tried to eat on his own. Unfortunately
he was unable to do it, so he got babyfood again, via syringe. He seems a
bit less wobbly today - another 5%%, I would guess - and is purring loudly
and freely when stroked, and greeting other cats who come to check him out.
He hasn't yet groomed himself other than to lick his chops. When he does go
back to self-grooming, that's when I'll breathe a bit easier.

I was grading papers yesterday when the ceiling fan suddenly turned itself
on (high setting, of course). Then it turned itself off. I glanced
around...and discovered that Holly was walking on the remote control.

Do you suppose she was trying to tell me something? Like, "Forget about
those papers and give ME some attention"?

With Peter home all day, he got layed off last week and all the hours I'm
working I have been to busy to reply to all the posts requesting purrs. Even
if I don't post I'm sending purrs and prayers to all who need them.
