This has to be the best song of the Psychedelic era! Garage Rock at its
Finest! And screw those Nuggets sets, with boring Mono, the Stereo
phasing is what made this song!! It blows your mind! Hit it, guys!...

Now, that was great! Take some bows!

A little bit for everyone, gathered from a CD budget bin...

~~~~~
Music TRIVIA + CD Covers - Can You Name This Group and Song?
They hadn't yet scored any Top 40 US hits, but they scored this '60's #1
hit elsewhere. (See snippet below). Can you name this group and song title?
http://www.angelfire.com/empire/abpsp/images/trivia-9.mp3
GOOD LUCK!
~~~~~

Music TRIVIA + CD Covers - The Music Machine

They were discover performing at a bowling alley. They'd dress entirely,
including gloves, and even dyed their hair all this same color. What
color was it?

GOOD LUCK!

p.s. Their "demo" of "Talk Talk" (1966+) may be what was actually
published and what you're listening to...

  Who knows that song?

Dear freaks and knowers of music

I got a song from a friend of mine - mp3 on a USB-Stick. The recording is in
a poor quality, so I don't understand all the lyrics. I like that song very
much, but I do not know the song, and I do not know the singer....
The song is slow, instrumentated only by a drum and a Clapton-like guitar,
and sung by a fine black singer. It sounds old, maybe sixties or earlier.
The song begins with
"So you say I'm a loser, with no direction to go...but I, I'm a chooser,
choosing (...).
So don't say, so don't play..."
And the refrain goes like "...security is the only way to stay free, so stay
free now...".

I hope some of you know that song. I would be very glad if you could help
me.

Greetings from Fredi in Switzerland
