Lakewood (Atl) question

My club membership lapsed a couple of years ago, and I haven't gotten
around to renewing. That wasn't supposed to be a problem, because
there are FC members who owe me favors. Unfortunately, they didn't
manage to return the favors this time around, for which I am cursing
them as I type.

So, I've got tickets in the middle of Lakewood Amphitheatre, in the
section behind the soundboard. Has anyone been to a show there?
Should I mentally prepare to have a badly obstructed view? At least
the sound should be good. :)

Never mind. I just ran into someone who's been to a lot shows there,
and she said she's never noticed any obstruction by the sound setup.

Then we shared our old horror at the thought of falling from the top of
the Omni on the Monster tour. I'd blocked it out until she mentioned
it. Man, I'm glad the Omni was destroyed.

I've always preferred lawn seating at Lakewood (but not at Chastain
where "lawn seating" is practically non-existent). That's might be
because I never get around to buying tickets until all the decent ones
are gone. In any case, I haven't decided to catch this tour. They
don't generally change up the songs in concert anyway. If they had
scheduled this performance at the new amphitheater in Alpharetta I
might be more inclined to attend. Got tickets to see Rush there (in
the lawn, natch).
