Irie Beat Productions, in association with Da Real Rock, presents Up
Close And Personal, Saturday, October 14, at the Gold Coast Roller
Rink, located at 2604 S Federal Highway, in Fort Lauderdale. This, the
third installation of the series, stars Tanya Stephens, and features
Nadine Sutherland and Kashief Lindo. All the artists will be backed by
South Florida's most versatile Reggae band, Code Red. Doors to the
Gold Coast Roller Rink open at 9:00 p.m., with show time scheduled at
11:00 p.m. Tickets are $30.00 in advance (more at the door) and are
available at VP Records retail in Miramar, Carl's Seafood, Aunt
I's, and Rainbow Variety.

Stephens' latest album, "Rebelution" is being distributed by VP
Records, and it follows the very successful 2004, "Gangsta Blues."
The first single, "These Streets" is making all the Reggae charts
from South Florida, New York, London, to Kingston. She is hailed as one
of the most prolific songwriters in Reggae music right now, and has
gained the respect and admiration of many of her peers. Women always
look to Tanya "to defend we rights!"

Nadine Sutherland has been singing from age 11 years, when she was
first discovered thru the popular Tastee's Competition back in
Kingston in 1979. Her prize was a recording contract with Bob
Marley's Tuff Gong Records. Over the years, she has recorded several
hits for different producers including "Action" and "Babyface." She is
currently working with Miami's Eight76 Records, and is completing her
first album for that label. This summer she has hit the South Florida
Reggae charts with "Keep Me Safe", and her new single "Can't Tek It"
featuring Chrisinti is gaining radio momentum. Sutherland is also a
host on the enormously popular televised talent competition Digicel's
Rising Stars.

Kashief Lindo is the son of legendary musician, songwriter, and
producer, Willie Lindo, whose work with balladeer Beres Hammond
stretches back to the early 70's. Kashief, himself, a talented writer
and producer in his own rights. Over the years, he has attained a
number of hit singles, and is a favorite of Reggae fans in South
Florida. He has a huge following among Caribbean young ladies.
