Dub...dub...and still more dub. A bunch of new stuff this week, including:
the sublime "Dub Qawwali" (Six Degrees) from Gaudi + Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan;
Burning Babylon's excellent "Garden of Dub" (which came out in 2006); the
freshly released Skatalites album "Rolling Steady" on Motion Records
(recorded in 1983); and two new Studio One archive collections from
Heartbeat. Also on the list of new stuff this week: "Village Square" by
Adeniji; "Underground Wobble" by High Tone; "Cinematic: Classic Film Music
Remixed" (on Six Degrees); "Ozone" by Zero One; and the "Rockstone" album
from Native & Lee Perry.

Tonight we finished our "Magic Dub Carpet Ride" started last week, then
moved on to new stuff from Arrogalla, Michael Rose, the Skatalites,
Gladiators (from Studio One archive), and more. Finally, one hour of the
show was filled with the Beat Pharmacy Dub Mix -- prepared by Brendan
Moeller for our good pal TurnTableTerrorist at Echo Beach (WLUW-FM) in
Chicago.
