REGGAE SUPERSTAR PATO BANTON RETURNS TO CONCERT CIRCUIT
Best known for his recording and touring with the likes of Sting,
Peter Gabriel & WOMAD, UB40, Steel Pulse, English Beat and General
Public, the Birmingham-based Pato Banton has returned to the live
concert circuit after a seven year hiatus. After receiving a Grammy
nomination for his Life Is A Miracle album for Surfdog Records in
2000, Pato decided to take a break from the nonstop touring schedule
across North & South America to give back to his local community in
Birmingham by starting a music program certified by British colleges
for underprivileged and at risk youth.
May 2007 marks the re-launch of Pato Banton's career with a series
of live performances throughout the United States. Pato Banton
promises to deliver his trademark high energy and interactive show
which often includes audience members on stage performing alongside
this reggae legend during this Spring 2007 concert tour.
