Re: Marley - is OM a slap in the face?"

To all my brothers and sister:
This has been a great dialogue I hope. The bottom line to me is that Bob
and all the other mentioned people who worked to improve the world had their
faults just like the rest of us. To me, this is what makes their
accomplishments even more amazing. My only contention about Bob making
money with his music - this is true - how can you avoid it? It sure beats
playing music and getting nothing or starving or the 20$ JA - doesn't it?
Based on my personal observations of him in JA over a long period of time -
is that I never saw him spend much on himself. While he loved women - we
had a lot of jokes about his squeaky twin bed and his spartan bedroom. Its
just my personal observation that he was not a materialistic person. Their
is plenty of room for multiple role models in life - I just think the JA
government should recognize his worldwide contribution or influence way
beyond what they have. Thanks again, everyone!
One Love,
Don
