Cevin Soling announced that his song, "Buffalo" will be used in the
closing credits of the new A&E TV series, CONFESSIONS OF A MATCHMAKER.
"Buffalo" was recorded and released by Cevin's first band, The
Neanderthal Spongecake on its 1998 album, THE SIDE EFFECTS OF NAPALM.
The group, which includes members of the band Scary Chicken winced
when they looked at the lyrics, "Grass is brown....skies are gray."
Cevin says, "They knew it was funny, but they were unknowingly
complicit in making fun of their hometown. There is a homage to the
band with the line 'see a Scary concert.'"

CONFESSIONS OF A MATCHMAKER is a real-life comedic series starring
matchmaker Patti Novak, who has been warming the hearts of Buffalo,
New York residents with her no-nonsense style of though love for
years. Known as the "Simon Cowell" of love, Ms. Novak is fearless when
it comes to giving advice on relationships. The show debuted on A&E on
Saturday, June 16 at 10 PM EST/PST.
