Carl palmer had a heart surgery.

Hi All.

Carl Palmer had a heart surgery procedure done on Feb 18, he needed
angioplasty. He came thru with no problems.

I'm working on a Get Well Card for him, so if you'd like to give him
your Get Well wishes just post them here and I will make sure he gets
them.

Best,

Tony.

Tarkus

Thanks, Tony - he has been in my thoughts all this week (after the
mention in the Billboard article) and am glad for the news that all
went swimmingly.

As far as a message from yours truly...

"Carl,

Sometimes (healthwise) getting old(er) is not all its cracked-up to be
- but it sure beats the alternative, right? In any event, you have
been in my thoughts and prayers this week - and I was very relieved
when Tony posted on his MySpace that all went as planned. Godspeed for
a full and speedy recovery, and I hope to see you again in the very
near future!

Kindest regards,

David (aka "Tarkus" on the internet, a homage from both a keyboardist
and devout fan)"

Thanks again, Tony.

glad your procedure went without complication. I'm sure you will
return to double bassing and paradiddles before you know it. God
Bless.

Steve Mays

Hi Carl. As a long time ELP fan (wow...has it been that long) I hope
your procedure went well and you will be back at the kit soon. You and
Gilson Lavis are the two drummers in the world that look younger as
you get older! Keep the trend going.

Jer

Dear Carl,

You're my 1 drummer and have influenced me so much. I even bought a
Paiste 24" 2002 ride cymbal and mounted it to my bass drum like yours
was fashioned in the 70's.

I would like to send you wishes for a speedy recovery and some much
needed rest. Take care oh master of the drum kit.

With Sincere Regards, Jerry Lawrence Greenville, South Carolina USA
