I was thinking if a certain prog artist would really qualify for being
a great artist
since I think or am always trying to think more of classical artists
these days.
That led me to the question, "Who are the greatest prog artists of all
time. Name
the most important three."
Who would you pick?

Don't be silly. Everyone knows the answer to that is PINK FLOYD, LED
ZEPPELIN, and YES.

As far as influence in the realm of showmanship, introduction and
popularizing of a musical instrument closely associated with the genre, and
in helping drive the popularity of Prog in the early 70's, ELP needs to be
considered.
Let the heckling begin!

Sorry, if I can rephrase the question....who are the three greatest
prog
individuals, in your opinion.
This makes the question more interesting, because you have to say who
in
Yes/Floyd/etc. was the strongest, most creative member.
Of course, there isn't an objective answer to this but I find it
interesting
who picks who and why.

I should have included Walter "Junie" Morrison as well. Only three
choices makes things rather difficult. Perhaps I should remove Don and
replace him with Junie.
