is Atom Heart Mother, no doubt about it.

After Piper (their best) and Dark Side (their second best), this is
the one which is the most interesting and the least boring.

There is practically no whining here (only Waters "If" is a bit
whiny). Gilmour plays some of his most non-calculated solos. And
Wright does some great freeform piano on Alan Psychedelic Breakfast.

The title track is great for the whole 24 minutes. Who does a 24
minute instrumental? These guys had balls. Summer 68 is an excellent
Wright song. Fat Old Sun is a bit boring at the beginning but has a
neat solo at the end.

Meddle is pretty good followup but overall quite boring. And Echoes
doesnt even compare to AHM suite. WYWH has the same problem. SOYCD is
overall boring and doesnot warrant its combined 30 minutes. The lesser
said about the crappy Dogs on Animals the better.

I like The Wall very much but it is not an entertaining album. And too
angsty and depressing for my taste. Hence I would prefer this over The
Wall.

I know Waters/Gilmour/Mason have said this album blows. I say they are
idiots.
