OK... I'll be nice... but really why do you like them? For
instance, I can think of 10 - 20 reasons I like "Twice Removed From
Yesterday" by Robin Trower - the album I just finished listening to,
without going to look it up somewhere or summarize.
1) Trower was a master of overdubbing guitars.
2) "Ballerina" is such a beautiful and haunting song.
3) I like James Dewar's (may he R.I.P.) vocals.
4) Trower didn't play Hendrix covers, although he did "Rock Me Baby".
5) Trower had his own style, although referred to as a Hendrix clone.
6) "Daydream" is one of his best songs - ever.
7) Many of the songs have great hooks that are remembered.
8) Definitely not bad overall for a debut album.
...
20) I could continue, but that's the point I'm making for you.

Can were not very popular in my neck of the woods. VDGG albums were
always in the cut-out bins - lucky for me!
