True, the Beatles were not strictly a hard-rock band. They could rock
out with the very best of them and often did(and your list, although
good, omits some other powerful rockers, what "Helter Skelter", "Why
Don't We Do it in the Road", "Oh! Darling", "Yer Blues", "Everybody's
Got Something to Hide," "Dizzie Miss Lizzie," (you included Twist &
Shout so obviously covers count), "Little Child" to name a few, don't
rock your balls?)....but they were far too creatively and musically
inquisitive, restless, curious and versatile to be limited to JUST
doing that, which is why they also produced countless pop classics in
completely different directions.
