The 7 most commerically successful 70s British rock bands from 1970-74

These 70s bands from the very arty top half of the 70s. As the second
devolved into punk, pub rock and disco nonsense these bands faded
away. But they did rule the first half.

I excluded predominantly 60s British rock bands like Rolling Stones,
Moody Blues and Who who were quite successful in the 70s as well.

Queen and ELO became successful only in the second half. Bad Company
pretty much started in the second half. Genesis really didnt become
commerically successful until the 80s. They had some success in UK but
they were pretty much non existant until they went pop, in the US.
King Crimson was pretty much a cult band.

Am I missing any early 70s British rock bands which were successful in
both US and UK?

This is the list

Have you really examined your cry for help? These band suck and so do
people who like them. How much anti-Beatles sentiment can you pack into
this repeating cross posting email?

If you don't rise above this cruddy music, you will never grow up and
you will never move out of your mother's house.

What was anti Beatles about this? Beatles made one album in the 70s.
No one in their right mind would call them a 70s band.
