This is my take....

01. Led Zeppelin
02. Yes
03. Pink Floyd
04. Beatles
05. Rolling Stones
06. Black Sabbath
07. Deep Purple
08. Kinks
09. Who
10. Yardbirds

Yardbirds would have been a lot higher if they lasted longer.... but
then there would have been no Led Zeppelin. So it was good they broke
up. I personally enjoy then more than the rest of the British Invasion
bands.

I though about Jimi Hendrix Experience but they narrowly missed out.
And plus there is a problem of Jimi not being British. I find Cream a
bit overrated even though they are held in high regard.

Some would say why not a single British band which formed after 1970.
I just dont think any of them were as good as these 10. I like bands
like The Police, Joy Division, The Sex Pistols, The Clash quite a lot
but I still dont think they were ever as good as these 10.
