Who wins? Rush has had more hit songs, I think. Which band has left the most
great music? Which band has the larger legacy?

While we're on the subject of total irrelevancy, how about The Fugs vs.
The Flying Machine.

In my opinion, Rush ..... I was always biased against Moody Blues ... it
borrowed too heavily from classical tradition ... at least Rush could make a
big sound without employing a symphony orchestra, plus, they sounded more
"space age" and I believe they have that more in common with Yes than the
Moodies ...... I do like the Moody Blues on "Long Distance Voyager" though,
for certain tracks .....

Why, pray-tell, did you cross this into the beatles and yes newsgroups?
Fixed...
Overall, I like Rush better. But having said that, you have to face
reality: The Moody Blues are nothing to sneeze at in any department -
talent, longevity, good music - They've got it all. They're right up
there on my list of "good stuff".
He'll lift you up, he'll bring you down, he'll plant your feet back
firmly on the ground...

I never heard a Rush song that impressed me or didn't make me feel nervous
and uncomfortable.
The Moody Blues are as great as the stars in heaven at night.
