I strongly disagree with Neal Morse's spiritual message, but he's
entitled to his beliefs. What annoys me is that his Christian-themed
work is much weaker than his songwriting in Spock's Beard and
Transatlantic: it feels like he has dumbed down his music in an effort
to reach a wider audience. I'm less familiar with his most recent solo
work: does it compare any better to his earlier work?
