It is a lethal combination of pyschedelic rock, hard rock, progressive
rock, pop rock (or rock 'n' roll). influences could be anything,
classsical, blues, folk, jazz etc. I am talking abt styles here. Very
few bands had these. Most of them started in the late 60s and peaked in
early 70s and declined by late 70s and never fully recovered.
Look at my top 5 favorite bands now...
1. Led Zeppelin (60%% hard rock, 10%% pop rock, 10%% prog rock, 10%%
pyschedelic rock)
- best 5 studio albums: LZ, LZII, LZIII, Zoso, HOTH
2. Yes (10%% hard rock, 15%% pop rock, 60%% prog rock, 15%% pyschedelic
rock)
- best 5 studio albums: Yes, TYA, Fragile, CTTE, Relayer
3. Pink Floyd (15%% hard rock, 25%% pop rock, 25%% prog rock, 35%%
pyschedelic rock)
- best 5 studio albums: TPATGOD, ASOS, Meddle, TDSOTM, WYWH
4. Van der Graaf Generator (20%% hard rock, 10%% pop rock, 30%% prog rock,
40%% pyschedelic rock)
- best 5 studio albums: TAGM, TLWCDIWTEO, HTHWATOO, PH, Godbluff

99!
It is quite obvious that you haven't heard all the albums from
most of these bands as you miss out some gems and include lemons.

Given your repetitive history amongst these newsgroups, did you think things
would change? Especially considering that your list hasn't. Reviewing this
information, one can only conclude that you a trolling for the hate posts.
You really don't want the opinion of others, you feel you need to tell the
world the same thing every 11 days, and your posts do not contribute
anything of value. My suggestion to you is to follow your own advice to
others and just be quiet. Listen and maybe you'll learn something.
Your percentages make me laugh. Yes = 10%% hard rock, 15%% pop? That's funny.
Maybe I'm wrong and you do contribute, just not in the way you intend.

All baseless assumptions. I am trying to stir some discussions here.
Probably it is too subtle for you to understand.

Are you saying Yes have no pop or hard rock in their music? Not even in
their first two albums, 90125, Drama etc? If you think Yes is 100%% prog
rock you are just dense.
