Greatest progressive rock albums of all times

Criteria: consistency (at least 95%% songs having great melodies,
innovation, versatility in the album, great musicianship... or wanking
if you wanna call it)

These are the 25 progressive albums, I am mightily impressed with.

01. Yes - Close To The Edge
- Greatest prog album ever. Every note on the record is perfect. Only
three songs and all of them classics.

02. Pink Floyd - The Dark Side Of The Moon
- If not for CTTE, this would have been #1. Another perfect record.

03. Jethro Tull - Thick as a Brick
- Just one track, divided into two parts clocking 40 minutes. And it
doesnt get dull.

04. Can - Future Days
- Some people consider Tago Mago to be a bigger classic. But I always
felt Tago Mago was a bit too influenced by Syd Barrett and early Floyd.
But Can discover their own sound with this album. Bel Air and the title
track are just beyond awesome.

Hey, you still haven't answered my questions, but I see you sporting a new
nom de plume. Did you think we wouldn't notice? As usual, it is nothing more
than your redundant favorites list that we have seen time and time again.

I would also say that LZ's PG doesn't reach your 95%% criteria. 15 songs
means all must reach your criteria. You state in your little blurb about the
album that "It has some weak songs on side 2". Please explain how this album
can be on this list, since it doesn't meet the criteria you set. While
you're at it, you might as well do the other 25 since most are going to have
issues with the criteria you have set.

Oh, don't worry. We all know you can't. The only reason that I can fathom
for these list is that you think Robert Plant will see them and want to
strike up a friendship with you because you are the world's greatest fanboy.
Well, who am I to crush your little fantasy? I'll make a note in my calendar
that there will be a thrilling and enlightening new list next week. And the
week after. And after. And after....................

I think only Wanton Song and Sick Again are weak songs. And by the way,
both the songs have great melodies. So actually only 100% of the album
has great melodies.

Sorry, you lose.... Oops... I screwed you again.

redundant favorites list? LOL... I pretty much hate ELP. Brain Salad
Surgery is a classic though. And King Crimson made a bunch of lame
albums after their debut album. Red was decent though.

Most of the albums on the list are all considered as great prog albums.
Ofcourse you wouldnt know about it, since you are an ignorant jackass.

The only double album on the list...

...apart from this one.

But you only listen to one track, and you're usually finished before it is.

Which songs out of 'Houses Of The Holy', 'Trampled Underfoot' and 'Kashmir'
are "weak"?

Also, 15 songs less the two weak songs from "side 2" equals 87%%...so how
does this album qualify (aside from the fact that it's not a prog rock
album)?
