Why don't you ask the man himself on his site (the forum section
thereof)? He's still on tour with the LCG in northeast and midwest
America but in his diary's latest entry he mentions a GGF strike in
'67 and taking a call at their then headquarters on the Brondesbury
Road. If he recalls those days after 40 years, then he might know
about the lyrics too.
