Underrated genius. What do you think? He practically invented metal.
Not Iommi but Butler. Without Butler's booming scary bass, Sabbath
would have sounded like a blues rock band instead of metal.
I think the entire metal world has to thank him. And lets not forget
he was the real Satanist in the band. Ozzy was apparently scared of
the dark...lol. Iommi was also into the occult, but Butler was really
deep into that. And it was Butler who wrote most of the Satanic
lyrics.
And the first two albums as much dominated by Butler as Iommi.
